June 10, 1986: Jeanette Kirby, 36, tells her mother she will be out jogging after work. * June 11, 1986: Muriel Kirby calls police to report her daughter is missing. * June 12, 1986: A friend finds Jeanette Kirby's body in Delhi Township near Riverbend Park. * November 1986: After five months following 700 tips, a police task force disbands. * August 1988: A task force of investigators from five area departments forms to delve into six unsolved killings, including Kirby's. * March 1990: Detectives from Leelanau County find plastic flexible handcuffs in David Draheim's truck similar to the pair that bound Kirby's wrists. * August 1998: Investigators again delve into the case. * April 12, 2001: David Draheim, then 44, of Holt is charged with fatally stabbing Jeanette Kirby. * June 13, 2001: Mason District Judge Pamela McCabe decides there is enough evidence to send Draheim to trial. * June 10: Draheim's murder trial begins in Ingham County Circuit Court. * June 25 : Draheim, 45, is convicted of second degree murder after the jury deliberates for more than 21 hours. * July 17: Draheim is sentenced to 60 to 90 years.
