The son of a police lieutenant, Charlie Davis killed five women in the late 1970's in Maryland. The part-time ambulance driver would stalk his victims until they parked in a vulnerable area outside of a store or resteraunt, then using his father's contacts, would have the woman's license plate number run through. After obtaining the name of his soon-to-be victim, Davis would simply have her paged claiming that her car's lights were on. When the women came out into the parking lot to investigate, Davis would quickly abduct them, rape, and strangle them.
Seeking an even bigger thrill than simply rape and murder, Davis would dump the bodies in the open along roadways that were in his ambulance's territory. When the call came in to respond to the call's, nobody imagined that the man coming to aid the women, far too late unfortunately, was actually the man who killed them.
